Character
Name: Kuja
Canon: Final Fantasy IX
Age: 24
History: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Kuja
Canon Point: Post-Game; (since it never actually states if he dies or survives; but Zidane survived so it's feasible that Kuja may have also)
Preferred Team: Cosmos (Kuja actually pretends to be on Cosmos side in 012 and attempts to aid their side against Chaos, unfortunately due to Kefka's interference and actions, this didn't result in much good and ended up landing Kuja with fake memories come 013)
Cycle Goal: Redemption for past deeds both on Gaia & in past cycles
Memories:
General - loathing of garland, fondness of dragons
Specific - Zidane saved his life once
Personality: Narcissistic and theatrical by nature, Kuja often expresses himself with metaphorical poetic prose and grants nicknames to those whom he interacts with at times, calling Garnet his 'canary' and her mother an 'elephant-lady'. He strives to present himself the image of refined elegance and thus dresses to show himself off and yet at the same time hide what he actually is. The robe he wears about his hips and thighs hides the tail he refuses to acknowledge due to his stubborn denial of his origins.
Created in a fully adult form, Kuja has no experience with emotions, thus no remorse or empathy which was perfect for what his creator desired. Unfortunately what made him perfect to create war and strife unhindered, also robbed him of the ability to achieve Trance. Due to this and the fact Kuja had a strong will, Garland seeks to replace him and thus sparks the start of Kuja's narcissistic rage at Garland, since he is the one threatening Kuja's self-worth and superiority. In order to retain his position and also in a prideful attempt to prove himself better than his replacement, he steals Zidane away from Terra and abandons him on Gaia.
After that he's prevented from repeating the act with Garland's third attempt and soon Kuja's aims shift from causing war to further Garland's aims to acting to act on his own aims, though he is careful to keep this change of loyalties hidden at first. He fully utilizes his intelligence and manipulative cunning to gain him a base of power for his own, carefully keeping himself behind the scenes and giving his pawns plenty of rope with which to hang themselves with in the form of promises of aid to help them sate their lust for power.
It's in the course of his seeking power for himself that he learns of Trance and begins seeking it for himself, and finds out just how Trance is achieved. Unfortunately upon achieving Trance via absorbing the souls taken by Invincible, Kuja's self-esteem and worth are struck by Garland's words that Kuja is mortal and due to die upon Zidane reaching maturity. The revelation that he was nothing but a pawn to Garland and that his efforts were all for nothing drive him into an insane rage and he proceeds to destroy everything on Terra, since due to both his childish selfishness and his narcissistic viewpoint, why should anyone continue to live if he was doomed to die? It just wasn't fair.
Before he's able to destroy Gaia, Zidane and his friends pit themselves against him and manage to defeat him, and then in a fight with the real angel of death, show him just what living means. Seemingly repentant of his previous actions now, Kuja transports Zidane and his friends to safety, only to have Zidane race to where he lay beneath the Iifa tree, where Kuja confesses that he never understood the meaning of life until it was too late. He tells Zidane to save himself and that he's glad his friends are safe, showing that he finally gained some inkling of remorse and empathy and has seemingly learned how to put others well-being before his own.
Skills and Abilities:
Kuja is described as a Graceful Glider. He is the only original character able to glide through the air outside of EX Mode, and can attack while moving. This is crucial to Kuja's Bravery attacks, which consist of two-part attacks where the second part of the effect changes depending on his distance from the opponent, and the power according the nature of the first attack. This gives Kuja a great deal of versatility when attacking. The start-up of his Bravery attacks are also varied between close and long-range techniques. His HP attacks stun the opponent, dealing Bravery damage before damaging their HP. As a downside, Kuja's attacks are mostly mid-ranged and he does not do as much damage as melee fighters. His Bravery attacks are also easy to block.
Inherent:

Ring Holy (ground): Fire three rings of holy energy that slowly track the opponent.

EX Mode; Trance
Regen: Recovers HP over time during EX Mode.
Critical Boost: Doubles Critical Hit Rate while in EX Mode
Hyper Glide: Increases altitude maintainance while gliding allowing more aerial time and slower falling.
Auto Magic: Enables Kuja to automatically fire Holy orbs when gliding/falling, and Flare orbs when jumping/landing. The orbs stagger the opponent when blocked
Ex Burst: Final Requiem
A fury of repeated Flare Star attacks is cast as Kuja conducts. The player is required to rapidly press O to successfully chain them together, finishing with a Holy spell, which then leads into an Ultima spell if correctly chained.
Arena:
Arena Name: Crystal World
Physical Description: The stage is dominated by two large connected orange platforms in the arena's center surrounded by pillars of crystal. Pillars and platforms made of orange and purple crystal float in the air and form a network of hexagonal platforms around the bottom of the central platforms. Some platforms of rock cannot be destroyed, but the platforms and crystal can be. In the background the Crystal of Final Fantasy IX can be seen spinning inside a large ring.
